Was really good practice getting used to shooting in manual. I think I learned more about my how my camera works today then I have since I bought it. So I will call that a definite success!  Here are my favorites from the day!

Gender Neutral owl cake for a baby shower this weekend! So awesome when parents keep the gender a surprise! Can't wait to find out the gender of this sweet baby! Congrats to the parents to be!

The Little Mermaid Cake- St. Augustine Cake Decorator

This Little Mermaid cake was made for a sweet girl this past weekend who was celebrating her 4th birthday! We met her not long after she turned 1. Where does the time go?! It's a Yellow cake with Strawberry filling and a white butter cream icing blend. YUM!

Usually when I do a theme cake I use fondant. I *almost* managed to do this cake without fondant. But a few fondant sea items found their way on this cake ;)
